SkillsBridge Talent
Refund Policy

Version 0.1 |   Effective date: 15th August, 2026

1. About This Policy

SkillsBridge Talent is a division of SkillsBridge Global Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 12 699 034 734). This policy explains when and how a refund of the SkillsBridge Talent Workforce Readiness Program Fee (“Program Fee”) is available. It applies to all program participants, whether referred through GeSS Education or enrolled directly.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have, or any guarantee, term, condition or warranty implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where this policy is inconsistent with those rights, your legal rights prevail.

2. Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law

Services supplied by SkillsBridge Talent come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Under these guarantees, services must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for any purpose you made known to us, and be delivered within a reasonable time.

  • If there is a major failure to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to choose a refund, or to have the service re-supplied.

  • If there is a minor failure, we may choose to fix the issue or re-supply the service within a reasonable time.

This policy is in addition to, and does not replace or limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

3. Quick Reference — Common Situations

Situation: You withdraw during the program

Refund Outcome: Refund amount depends on how long you have been in the program — see the Refund Schedule in Section 4

Situation: You do not receive an employer introduction, interview, sponsorship or visa outcome

Refund Outcome: No refund is payable on this basis alone — the fee is for the readiness services described in your invitation letter, not for a guaranteed result. See Section 5.

Situation: We are unable to deliver a service you have paid for (for reasons within our control)

Refund Outcome: Full refund of the amount paid for that service, or we will re-perform it at no additional cost — your choice

Situation: A major failure occurs under the Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees

Refund Outcome: You may choose a refund, or have the service re-supplied, regardless of the Refund Schedule — see Section 2

4. Refund Schedule

If you withdraw from the program, the amount of your Program Fee that can be refunded depends on how long you have been participating, as follows:

Time Since Opt-In                                 Refund Available      Why

Days 0–7 (cooling-off period)           100%                             No services have started

Days 8–30 (within Month 1)               75%                                Onboarding and early coaching typically underway

Days 31–60 (within Month 2)             50%                               Core workplace readiness program typically underway or                                                                                                                   complete

Day 61 onward (after Month 2)         0%                                  No refund available under this schedule*

The majority of readiness services are typically complete                                                                                                                   by this point

*A refund may still be payable after Day 61 where required under the Australian Consumer Law — for example, if there has been a major failure to deliver the services as described (see Section 2), or at SkillsBridge Talent’s discretion (see Section 7). This schedule limits refunds available simply because a participant changes their mind or withdraws for reasons within their control — it does not limit your statutory rights.

5. The Fee Is Not a Fee for a Guaranteed Outcome

The Program Fee is charged for the services described above — it is not a fee for finding you a job, and it is not contingent on being introduced to an employer, receiving an interview, being sponsored, or obtaining a visa. Accordingly, no refund is payable solely on the basis that you did not receive an employer introduction, interview, sponsorship, nomination or visa outcome, provided the services themselves were delivered as described.

6. How to Request a Refund
  • Refund requests must be made in writing to admin@SBTalent.com.au.

  • Please include your full name, program participation details, the reason for your request, and (if applicable) which services you have and have not yet received.

  • We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and provide a decision within 15 business days.

  • Approved refunds will be paid to the original payment method within 10 business days of the decision, unless otherwise agreed.

7. Discretionary Refunds

Outside the situations described above, SkillsBridge Talent may, at its discretion, approve a full or partial refund in exceptional circumstances — for example, significant hardship, or a genuine and demonstrated inability to continue in the program for reasons outside your control. Discretionary refunds are assessed case by case and are not guaranteed.

8. Complaints About a Refund Decision

If you disagree with a refund decision, you can ask us to review it by contacting admin@SBTalent.com.au. If you remain unsatisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading in your state or territory, or, for privacy-related concerns, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version that applied at the time you opted into the program will govern any refund request relating to that participation, unless a later version is more favourable to you.
